Dan Khan | CEO & Founder
Dan Khan is a U.S. Army veteran, and the CEO of the American Peace Committee. Dan hopes to bring together all Americans of different faiths, backgrounds and opinions. The American Peace Committee’s goal is not to change opinions but to find a way to live peacefully while maintaining diverse opinions.
Dan’s life began in a small mountain village in Pakistan and he immigrated to the United States with his family in 1999 at the age of three. He attended Midwood High School in Brooklyn and Upon graduating he joined the U.S. Army.
While on active duty he would be assigned to the military’s Joint Surface Deployment and Distribution Command and become their Data Management Coordinator to handle day-to-day and mission logistics.
After his time in the military, Dan would go on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, becoming the first in his family to obtain a four-year degree. Since then Dan has been involved in the Muslim American community and seeing the need for an organization to bring unity to Jewish and Muslim Americans, he founded the American Peace Committee.
